Baught this item last night.. It's a complete NIGHTMARE!!. For me it's not the spindle that's a problem. It's the fact that the machine doesn't communicate with the app. Also that I can't delete users at all. It asks for the user serial number. When I type it in it doesn't bloody work. This is the most user unfriendly device I've ever had the misfortune of buying. I'm worried my elderly parents will get stuck locked out because this thing is so unreliable. I'm also worried someone will get in easily as I can't delete the 123456 code! Do not buy! If you've baught it. Take it back! It's terrible.

My device will not allow me to press 3 for network settings. So I can not pair my app to the device. When I press the 3 it always says no.

How do you turn the light on without the app or your smartphone.. with older versions you could turn the power off once or a few times from the wall switch and then on and it would come on.. that no longer works!! I checked the instruction manual.. nothing!!

A tip of advice: When paring the Music Cube, CHARGE IT BEFORE USE. I had so many problems, but it was all because you cannot use it while charging. Let it charge for a hour or so.

Shitest products ever. wont connect and if you finally can get one to connect good luck trying to work out their idiotic way of setting up a timer. Seriously don't you test your products at all? Even this dumb video doesnt properly explain the set up...but thats ok you've got some happy jingly music.

How about getting rid of all the annoying ADS in the app?! Why do I have to see bunnings ads on my app? I would have expected the app to be far, FAR better considering the revenue earned by the ads! The grid app is not intuitive and difficult to set up schedules! The user interface looks cheap and ugly, especially when compared to other smart apps like Hue, Lifex or even Wiz. The Grid app is also super frustrating when it comes to adding/pairing a new device. The process takes for ever! So why do we need to experience the ads on top of this? We've already paid for a smart device, we don't need to see annoying ads on top of everything else!!

This is shit needs to have a compatible wifi router or else it will not connect to the wifi at all.

I've got a few of their WiFi indoor pan and tilt 2k cameras. I totally rate these for their price, reliability, and functionality. I am looking for one for the front door and found your video. Based on it, I might grab a couple of these.

I lasted through the frustration when setting up a light. Turning it on and off 3 times eventually worked (made it flash rapidly) when I did it slow and waited a few seconds after the 3rd. Then after fuffing around trying to do manual sync which didn't work and repeatedly having to type in my wifi details I saw a tab at the top to do auto sync and then after failing a couple of times I found an option that directed me to Android settings to change my actual phone to 2.4GHz and then it worked. I then turned off 2.4GHz on the phone and 5Ghz was still on and I could still control the phone. Learned a lot. I actually turned on Bluetooth sometime before it worked but even though it says it needs bluetooth I don't think it does. I think Bluetooth is for other shit. I can unplug it and plug it back in and control it on 5G without bluetooth, so looking good. Took 45 minutes.

I took this product back for a refund. All works well EXCEPT connecting in time to see the person - it’s primary function. Got lots of good footage of people walking away

Arlec needs separate videos for its products. The process is so different. I have a fan that just will not go into pairing mode. Arlec support line hangs up after the intro message. Useless products, useless support and very poor customer treatment.
